It sure looks miserable out east there, with all the blowing and drifting snow.
I guess there are hundreds of power outages also..

Jean, I'm hoping your power is still working where you are.
I see on Facebook that Pat got her snow day so she didn't have to go to work.   :)
Hope the rest of the family stayed safe as well.

Sounds like all is ok there by you Tootie, weatherwise, so that's good.
Sorry to hear about your friends' passing away,  it's so hard to lose our friends,
and seems to be more and more of it as we get older.

One of our long time neighbors and friend just passed away early yesterday also.
He had been battling cancer for a long time so it was expected, but still sad .
Very nice man he was, all his life.

My oven is now working fine !
I don't know if I should even mention why there were carbon monoxide readings.
Turns out I had a sheet of tin foil on the bottom of my oven,
so as to keep oven clean from spills etc.
But the sides were covering over the heating elements and prevented the needed circulation.
Therefore the CO had nowhere to go but out through the oven vent and into the house.
Not sure if I explained that right, but once we took the tin foil out, all was fine.
It was the gas company that came out and he's the one who noticed it.   lol

Anyway all is fine again,  thank goodness.  No charge either !  yayyy
Our temperature is 26ยบ this morning, and going to mid 30's.
Tonight we're to have snow mixed with rain and sleet coming in from the west,
supposed to go all through tomorrow and into Monday morning.
Some places getting more snow, other places getting more rain, depends on the track.
Not looking forward to that,  but hopefully it won't be tooo bad here.

Have a good weekend everyone  ~   hugs, Peri
