Winter has finally arrived !   We got about 6 inches of snow here during the night and this morning.
Further up north of here, they got anywhere from 10 to 12 inches
I started shoveling this afternoon, but snow was just too wet and heavy to get much done.
Not to mention the coating of ice underneath.
So when the plow guy came over, .. he shoveled the walk for me too.
Thought that was very sweet of him.   Normally that's not part of the deal.
Yes I agree, being short always presents a problem when buying clothes.
always having to hem pants legs, .. story of my life .
Was also a little worried about Elsie with those tornados all around, but thank God they missed.
So sad and sorry for the people who's homes were destroyed tho.
I was looking at the pictures of the damage in Branson.   What a shame.
Hopefully the hotel we'll be staying at is ok.   I didn't hear it mentioned, so think it's ok.
I've been hearing a snapping sound in my car lately, think it's coming from the steering column.
So Friday I'll take it to a garage and have it checked, and maybe even have kind of an 'overhaul',
and then just keep it instead of getting new.  I'll ask the guy if he thinks it's worth it.
They're a very reputable repair place, been here locally for years.
Lots cheaper than the Chev dealership to have anything major done.
I probably should have taken it to the local garage long ago,
instead of being charged so much for usual maintenance at Chevy dealers over the years.
Live and learn I guess.     Hugs, Peri
